More than 18,000 people attended King’s Lynn’s free annual fireworks event, Fawkes in The Walks.
Despite it being postponed due to Storm Ciaran and held a week later, people packed into the park to watch the dazzling display last Friday.
The West Norfolk Council organised event, which started 15 years ago, was hosted by Radio West Norfolk’s Simon Rowe with music by Bear Club and Vex.
Simon Ring, council cabinet member for tourism, events and marketing, said the public open space team did an “incredible job” preparing the park considering the condition it was in the previous week.
“I’m pleased to see so many residents came to enjoy the display a week later than expected,” he added.
