Members of Hunstanton Coastguard Rescue Team have been presented with the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee medal.

Station officer Michael Fysh said: “This was a special award. We are a team of 11 but only five of us got the award as you had to have done five years’ service.”

The medals were presented by senior coastguard rescue officer Ben Morgan in Hunstanton last week.

The commemorative medal to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee is awarded to serving frontline members of the police, fire, emergency services, prison services and the armed forces as a token of the nation’s thanks.
