Six people were arrested following an illegal rave in Methwold.

Following a call from a member of the public at around midnight on Saturday, officers found around 100 people in a former pig shed on land off Mundford Road, with music being played intermittently, at around 4am.

Police vehicles were used to close entrances to the site to prevent more vehicles from entering, and officers monitored the event throughout the early hours of the morning before sound equipment and vehicles were seized.

Shortly after 11am on Sunday, two men in their 30s, a boy in his late teens and a man and woman in their 20s were all arrested at the site in connection with the event.

They were taken to King’s Lynn Police Investigation Centre for questioning. The woman has been released under investigation and the four other suspects have been released on police bail until June 30.

A man aged in 20s from Cambridgeshire was arrested at the scene for breaching a court order and taken to Wymondham Police Investigation. He was remanded into custody to appear in court at a later date.
