An RNLI crew from Hunstanton rescued a springer spaniel who had got into trouble in the water.

Digby was swimming in a fast-flowing channel with an incoming tide at Brancaster when the crew came to its aid yesterday (Wednesday) at around 5.50am.

They managed to lift the “exhausted and very lucky” dog onto the lifeboat and take it back to its owner and transported them both back to the harbour and into the care of the Coastguard.
