Operator Govia Thameslink Railway has warned there will be very few trains next week.

Rail passengers are warned to only travel if your journey is essential due to nationwide strikes planned next week.

Operator Govia Thameslink Railway has warned there will be very few trains every day from the start of the industrial action on Tuesday until Sunday, June 26 inclusive, with crowding expected, particularly on last trains and possible delays.

There will be no service at all on many lines on strike days (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) and there will be late starts and early finishes throughout the period.
