New Lynn venue offers something for everyone

The owners of a new restaurant in King’s Lynn have said “there’s nothing like it” in the town.

Purfleet Brasserie, on Purfleet Street, which offers food, drink and music, was officially opened by West Norfolk Mayor Lesley Bambridge last Thursday.

Sam O’Callaghan, who owns the venue with business partner Paul Reeve, said: “King’s Lynn needs this – there’s nothing like it. It’s a fun place which is versatile for all ages.

“It’s quite a hybrid venue with a lovely atmosphere. People can come and eat, drink or have a singalong.”

The 40-seater venue will host regular live entertainment, including singer-songwriters, jazz quartets, quiz nights and comedians.

The brasserie will be open on Wednesdays from 5pm to 11pm for dinner service. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 11pm for lunch and dinner and, Sundays from noon to 5pm for two sittings of Sunday lunch.

Mr O’Callaghan added: “We are really excited for the future.”
