Police are appealing for witnesses after a young boy suffered serious head injuries after a collision with a cyclist in Gaywood.

It happened at around 8.45pm on Bagge Road last Thursday when a pedal cyclist crashed into the five-year-old who was crossing the road.

The youngster was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge for treatment.

Officers want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has any information.
