A woman in her 70s has suffered life-threatening injuries following a serious collision in Castle Acre.

Police were called to Castle Acre Road, the A1065, at around 4.50pm yesterday (Wednesday) following reports of a single-vehicle crash involving a Skoda Octavia.

A spokesperson for Norfolk Police said: “The passenger, a woman in her 70s, suffered life-threating injuries as a result of the collision. The driver, a man also aged in his 70s, suffered minor injuries.”

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have seen the incident to come forward. Call the Swaffham Roads Armed Policing Team on 101 quoting incident 329 of May 18.
