Fire crews were called to Runcton Holme near Downham Market this morning after a bungalow caught fire.

The roof of one property in School Road was almost completely destroyed by the blaze, with firefighters using hoses to extinguish the flames, while it is believed another property has also been affected.

Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service was called at 11.50am and crews were on the scene for more than two hours.

It is understood appliances from King’s Lynn North and South attended, alongside crews from Downham Market, Sandringham, Swaffham, Heacham and Wisbech.
