Your Local Paper’s Winter Appeal is drawing to a close having so far raised around £7,500.

There is still time to help our chosen charities, King’s Lynn Winter Night Shelter, the town’s food bank and The Purfleet Trust at Lynn.

We know these charities, like all others, need help all year round not just through the winter, but your donations have made a huge difference during November, December and January.

“A big thank you from all of us at YLP and on behalf of the charities for your continued support.

“Your donations, big and small, have made a massive difference, the money you have helped us to raise is money the charities would not have had and they are extremely grateful,” said YLP editor Sue Irving.

Our appeal will close at the end of January and will re-open later in the year. Cheques or cash donations can still be posted to YLP at 29 King Street, King’s Lynn, PE30 1ET or put through our office door for us to forward on your behalf.

Make cheques payable to: King’s Lynn Winter Night Shelter, The Purfleet Trust or King’s Lynn Foodbank  and write the charity’s name on the envelope.
