Three more apprentice engineers have joined the team at a King’s Lynn security firm.

CTS Security has welcomed Joel Pearson, Rahim Benson and Ryan Peart.

Apprentice Ryan Peart.

Rahim and Ryan joined in November to begin their Level 3 Fire and Security Systems Technician Apprenticeship in January 2022, which they will be complete via Skills for Security and Joel  joined at the beginning of 2021, part way through his Level 3 which he is completing through Lincoln College.

He is due to complete his End Point Assessment early in 2022.

The company also has apprentices Scott Moore  and Charlie Coles who are undertaking their Level 3 Fire and Security Systems technicians apprenticeship.

A company spokesman said the CTS team has recognised the key to recruiting and retaining quality staff was to “encourage and support formal training while in employment and allowing staff to grow and progress in their roles”.

Scott and Charlie are progressing with their Level 3 through Skills for Security. Scott is entering his third year, and Charlie his second.

And earlier this year,  Jon Gregory-|Wood completed his IT apprenticeship. Jon has been with CTS for a few years and is a valued member of the team, providing internal IT and technical support, as well as technical support for customers.

With his technical knowledge, he is able to provide support and training to the CTS engineers and he will be taking on an additional “in-house training” role in the New Year, the spokesman said.

Darryn Faivelowitz, managing director at CTS, said: “Our team is evolving regularly, and the new apprentices represent a new generation of CTS employees.

“The skills that each of these talented apprentices bring to the table are a valuable addition to our team.”
