The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House is to hold its annual Light up a Life service virtually.

The memorial service is due to be streamed live on the hospice’s YouTube channel on Wednesday, December 15 at 6.30pm, and will run for around half an hour.

Light up a Life offers the opportunity for people to come together to remember loved ones in the lead-up to Christmas.

The service will feature readings and talks from a patient’s family and hospice staff, as well as performances from Gaywood’s St Martha’s Catholic Primary School, Sara-Jane Brennock and the One Voice Glee Club.

Lyndsay Carter, hospice chief executive, said: “Light up a Life has been an established part of The Norfolk Hospice for 23 years and we are pleased that we can continue delivering the service, although unfortunately, not in person as we did before the pandemic.

“We were really pleased with the feedback we had for our Light up a Life online service last year and we hope that our supporters, old and new, all tune in again and enjoy the service.”
