ATHLETICS: At the George Munday 10k hosted by the Three Counties Running Club at Leverington on Sunday, Renegade Runners were there en masse with some brilliant bling-winning performances.
Fourth overall was Mitchell Bunn who ran an official 10K personal best time of 35:23.
Cassie Moden was the third female finisher in 42:10, closely followed by Lisa Pyatt, running a 10k for the first time in 10 years to finish fourth woman and W40 prize winner in 42:23.
Jean Streeter claimed the W70 title in 52:29 and Colin Ferguson matched that in the male category, rolling back the years to record 48:50.
More PBs fell with James Ord 41:00, Dave Whitby 43:21, Andy Doyle 44:15, Beth Moden 45:09, Dave Dimech 47:45, Michael Doherty 51:08, Helen Karreman 56:23, Charlotte Price (supported by Darren Price) 58:26 and Lynne Eborall 65:50 all clocking great times.
Other Renegades’ times were: Steve Eke 45:55, Adam Hitchcock 48:20, Nick Mackay 48:45, Heidi Bunn 48:50, Mike Pembery 50:25, Carl Tipling 53:34, Zillah Smart 54:17, Clare Kitchener 55:47, Kevin English 56:05, Suzanne Pembery 58:39, Sandra Rhodes 65:25, Janet Foxwell 65:40, Rosie Battson 72:53 and Ryan Oakes 72:53.
At the Shouldham Cross Country, the Renegades were well represented by youngsters. In the u9 girls, Maya Marcinek came fourth and Oliver Anderson was 18th boy.
Olivia Ord finished third in the u11 girls, a position matched by Wiki Marcinek in the u13s.
In the u15 boys, Cody Pearman was sixth.
Katherine Pratt came eighth in the senior women’s section.
