Oli Blake with a recent catch at Blackdyke.Picture: SUBMITTED.

ANGLING: It has been much the same as the previous week at Blackdyke Trout Fly Fishery.

Fishing has been quite difficult at the Hockwold venue but there has been some decent numbers off the boats.

White snakes, Montanas, dries, boobies, daddies and egg patterns have worked best.

The next restock is due on Monday, including a good number of brown trout being added to the mix.

Some seasonal grass maintenance is under way on site but this will not affect fishing.

Free tea and coffee has resumed on site.

A couple of spaces are available for tuition today and on November 12 with John Reynolds. Email bartondnm@gmail.com for details.
