Getting ready for fireworks at Denver later this month.

Members of Denver Playing Field Association will be hosting a public fireworks display at the village playing field on Saturday, October 30.

As well as fireworks, there will be family fun with stalls, fairground rides, refreshments and a best Guy competition.

There will be limited parking in the playing field and the organisers are encouraging people to walk where possible.

Gates will open at 5.30pm with displays at 7pm and 7.30pm.

Entry will be free for under fives. The cost for under 16 year-olds will be £2.50 and £5 for adults.

There will be no machines for cards at the entrance so take cash. Tickets will be available at the entrance to the playing field on the night.

All proceeds will go towards the maintenance, improvement and development of the playing field.

• Downham Market and District Round Table hosts its annual fireworks display on Saturday, November 6 at Stradsett Hall and Country Park in aid of local charitable causes. There will also be funfair rides, music, activities and food and drink stalls.

Tickets, from are £3.50 per child aged three to 16, under threes free, £7.50 per adult and £20 for a family ticket.
