Design and layout details have been submitted following a proposal to build up to 125 new homes at South Wootton.
Persimmon Homes already has outline permission for homes on land west of Nursery Lane.
In a reserved matters application to West Norfolk Council, the company has given details of the design of the homes and layout for the scheme, part of the wider Hall Lane housing development.
“The range of housing to be provided, including market and affordable units will meet the needs of the area, while respecting and enhancing the site’s environmental assets.
“It will also benefit the wider community providing new pedestrian links, recreational spaces and creating job opportunities during construction,” documents with the application state.
Proposed is a range of one, two, three and four bed homes, with 25 affordable homes of which seven will be shared ownership and 18 affordable rent.
The application also proposes a mix of one, two and two-and-a-half storey dwellings.
Car parking is proposed in a variety of different forms, including integral garage, side parking, garages to the side and frontage parking, documents state.
The development will connect to existing facilities with bus routes, footpath and cycleways.
Three areas of open space will be created and spread throughout the development and will tie in with existing areas of open space, the application says.
