MOTOR SPORT: West Norfolk racer Aaron Alexander visited MKM Building Suppliers in King’s Lynn with his race kart to thank branch director Damian Roach for his help and support for the Pro Kart Racing team.
Alexander said that without support from local businesses he would not be able to compete at a high level and win races.
He also thanked Howdens of Lynn, LA Custom Coatings Dereham and Magnum Motorhomes Grimsby for their support, discounts and donations.
The 16-year-old entrepreneur/race driver has now left school and setup his own business – wheeliebinclean.co.uk – with the help of his dad Adam. All profits from the business will support his racing career.
Alexander competes in the British Pro Kart Endurance Championships and the Teesside Sprint Championship as a pro driver, with races streamed live by Alpha Live.
This weekend will see the team competing at the Teesside Autodrome in Middlesbrough for a double header sprint meeting. Next weekend he will be racing with team mate Kieran Lambert from Mansfield in the FSR team for two six-hour races in the British Prokart Endurance Championship in Llandow, Wales.
