Creative creations decorated a beach on Wednesday when an annual sandcastle competition returned.
The family event was held at Old Hunstanton in front of the RNLI boathouse.
Holidaymakers and local beach-goers sculpted a whole range of imaginative designs.
West Norfolk Mayor Harry Humphrey was invited to judge the competition, organised by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution Guild.
Around 40 children took part with adults helping. The competition was in three age groups and winners were: Two to seven years – 1st Eden, Rowan and Luci Butler and Bella; 2nd Taylor and Ellison Trawford, Darcie and Louie Chamberlain; 3rd, Tabitha Mews.
Eight to 11 years – 1st Lollie Gates, 2nd Toby Devlin and Elodie Swale; 3rd Matilda and Seth Clarkson. Twelve years plus – 1st Billy and Lollie Hairsine; 2nd Sophie Birkett and Olly Goodman; 3rd Jessica Scott.
Vouchers to spend in the RNLI shop were awarded as prizes.
