A forlorn looking Cameron Heeps has been released by the Stars

SPEEDWAY: The revolving doors at King’s Lynn’s Adrian Flux Arena continue to spin.

The Minors & Brady Stars made a double team change ahead of last night’s Premiership trip to local rivals Peterborough.

British finalist Ben Barker and club asset Kasper Andersen have been drafted in in a re-shuffle of the lower order following the home defeat against Sheffield on Monday.

Club bosses Keith Chapman, Dale Allitt and Alex Brady held discussions late night after that meeting and took the decision to release Cameron Heeps and Ricky Wells.

Andersen is a King’s Lynn asset who has been unfortunate in previous spells with the club in 2018/19, but he has already shown several encouraging signs in his Championship racing for Berwick. The Dane now has three home meetings to show he can get to grips with the Lynn track.

The much-travelled Barker is a vocal character in the pits and a provider of 100 per cent effort on track, and is currently picking up points for Newcastle after a delayed start to the season due to injury.

Team manager Brady said: “I am really pleased to have Ben and Kasper coming in.

“Everyone knows what Ben is about; all-action style and a real trier who never knows when he’s beaten. He’s someone who’s desperate to score points.

“Kasper is a rider we know well and is determined to be successful for Lynn. I’m looking forward to welcoming them both into the team.”
