Families will be able to explore the world of dinosaurs and learn more about the creatures which roamed our planet millions of years ago.
Lynn Museum has a range of dinosaur-themed activities lined-up for Tuesday, August 17, 10am to 5pm.
Visitors will have a chance to meet Dr David Waterhouse, senior curator of Natural History and Geology at Norfolk Museums Service, to find out about his experience of digging up a real tyrannosaurus and have a chance to handle real fossils.
The fun will continue with a dinosaur-themed trail around the museum. The Learning Team will also be on hand to help visitors to make their own dinosaur craft to take home at the end of the visit.
Museum learning assistant Monika Saganowska said: “We are looking forward to welcoming families back for this exciting event packed with activities. Dinosaurs are a popular topic among our visitors so this will be a great opportunity to explore it using our collections.”
Pre-booking is essential. All activities will be run every 30 minutes for family bubbles.
Tickets can be booked via norfolk-museums.arttickets.org.uk/lynn-museum or by calling 01553 775001.
