Residents are being urged to vote if they want West Norfolk Council to use a neighbourhood plan to help decide planning applications.

The Tilney All Saints Neighbourhood Plan has been produced over the last five years to give the community a voice in future development of the area.

Its purpose is to influence future planning policies “to ensure development is sustainable, conforms to the strategic policies in the local plan and maintains Tilney All Saints local interests”, a spokesman said.

The plan is one of four subject to a referendum. Residents can vote at Tilney All Saints Village Hall in Church Road on Thursday.
