That’s how you do it. Aaron Alexander on his way to victory in Oxfordshire.

MOTOR SPORT: There was a Pro Class victory for West Norfolk’s Aaron Alexander and his racing partner Kieran Lambert in the British ProKart Endurance Championships in Oxfordshire at the weekend.

Round four of the championship saw the Team Full Send Racing pair take on the six-hour race, giving overall championship leader Charlie Bingham a close race.

Alexander qualified fifth on Saturday afternoon, resulting in the team mechanics making some set-up changes for Sunday’s race.

Alexander started the main event in the driving seat and managed to get up to second place in the first two laps, on the bumper of Bingham.

The FSR Racing team had to make four pit-stops for fuel and driver changes, which all went well. The youngsters put in some amazing stints to cross the line first for the chequered flag in their class.

That puts the team in a good position on the championship points table for the long season ahead.

Teams are allowed to drop points from only their two lowest performing rounds of the season so the FSR Racing team will be looking to continue with their winning streak after suffering mechanical failures in the opening two rounds.

The next big race for Alexander will be with the Haase UK team at the British ProKart Endurance Championships British 24-hour event in Middlesbrough on August 7.
