There have been two promotions at a West Norfolk accountancy firm.

Mapus-Smith & Lemmon LLP Chartered Accountants, which has offices in King Street, King’s Lynn, and London Road, Downham Market, confirmed Vikkie Ely and Helen Peak had been made partners.

Mrs Ely joined the company in 2002 as a trainee accountant and qualified as a chartered certified accountant seven years later.

Managing a varied portfolio of clients, she is based in the Lynn office and specialises in the agricultural and medical sector, advising on all accountancy and taxation areas.

In 2017 Mrs Peak joined after training and qualifying as a chartered certified accountant at another firm.

She was based at the Downham office, but has since moved to  the company’s third office in Wisbech.

Mrs Peak specialises with all types of business and industry sectors advising on all accountancy and taxation areas.

Senior partner Paul Farrow, who joined Mapus-Smith & Lemmon  in 1988,  said: “Both Vikkie and Helen pride themselves on offering excellent client service and determination to provide high quality and effective advice to clients.
