Superheroes and their young fans were out in force raising money for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) at  the Superheroes Family Weekender on the Stradsett estate.

As well as the opportunity to dress up and meet their favourite superheroes, visitors to last weekend’s two-day event also had fun in the play area, inflatable bouncy castle zone, bungee trampolines, assault course and bat caves.

There was also a traditional funfair, family entertainment, a clown circus workshop, beach zone, food stalls and more.

There were special appearances from Transformers characters and meet and greet opportunities with a range of princesses and dinosaurs.

After a difficult year with few opportunities to go out, many families said on social media that it was lovely to finally be able to take their children for a long-awaited fun day out.

Organiser Philip Gray thanked all those who attended and said visitors had a wonderful time and made lovely family memories.
