A former teacher appeared before magistrates at King’s Lynn yesterday (Thursday) charged with 12 sexual offences against young boys.
Three of the offences are said to have happened against two boys when Tyrone Castles, 59, of Dockray, Cumbria, was employed at Glebe House School in Hunstanton during the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Castles faces eight counts of indecent assault of three boys under 14 years old, two of indecent assault under 16, one of gross indecency with a boy under 14 years and another sexual offence involving a boy under 16.
The charges relate to four boys. The case was sent to Norwich Crown Court for a hearing on July 22. No pleas were entered and Castles was released on unconditional bail.
