The 19th King’s Lynn Beaver Scouts with their completed wildflower garden at St Mary’s Church, West Winch, and work in progress.

Green-fingered Beaver Scouts  have started a new community gardening project as a thank you gesture.

Youngsters from the 19th King’s Lynn Beaver Scouts, based in the Scout Hut at North Runcton, started the project in partnership with St Mary’s Church at West Winch to say thank you for a recent donation from the church.

The Beavers have planted a wildflower bed and created natural habitats for wildlife.

They were helped by horticultural and landscape specialists the CGM Group, of Bexwell, which also donated bedding plants for the project.

Scout leader Donna Barr said: “Other donations of seeds and gardening equipment were gratefully received from Dobbies Garden Centre at King’s Lynn and Andrew James Plumbing, of West Winch.”
