Langley Road at South Wootton is to close overnight for roadworks later this month.

Resurfacing work between the Grimston Road junction and the Asda entrance is due to start on Sunday, June 20.

The work will take one night to complete subject to suitable weather conditions, Norfolk County Council said.

“To carry out the work safely it will be necessary to close Langley Road to all through traffic for the duration of the works 5pm to 6am.

“A fully-signed diversion route will be in place while surfacing works are in progress,” a council spokesman said.

Vehicle access to businesses and homes within the limits of the works will be maintained from one end of the closure at any time.

The project is expected to cost £36,000.
