Voters went to the polls yesterday (Thursday) to elect Norfolk County Council members, a new police and crime commissioner and members to some West Norfolk parish councils.

Results of the county council elections are to be posted online and live streamed, with the count due to take place from 2pm today (Friday) at Lynnsport.

The result for the post of police and crime commissioner for Norfolk will not be known until tomorrow (Saturday) as the count is due to start at 10am.

Meanwhile, candidates for the parish by-elections, will have to wait until Tuesday for their results to be counted and declared.

There are 14 seats to be filled in West Norfolk for county council places and the borough council will be posting results as they are declared on its website and social media sites.
