Springfields outlet, leisure and gardens in Spalding has reported a huge increase in sales since re-opening on April 12.

Sales in the first week were up by 31 per cent on average compared to the same week in 2019, despite it being the usually busy Easter week that year.

Ian Sanderson, director at SLR which developed and asset manages the scheme, said: “Springfields is a runaway success.

Our unique mix of outdoor retail and leisure is exactly what everyone wants. “Our teams have worked tirelessly to ensure a perfect customer experience.

This performance builds on 15 years of consecutive turnover growth.”

The 45-acre retail and leisure scheme boasts more than 50 shops and is set within the award-winning 25-acre Festival Gardens.
