Two resurfacing schemes for roads in West Norfolk are due to start this month after being postponed from February.

Norfolk County Council said essential work is set to start on Thursday, April 15, to resurface Ringstead Road at Thornham – the stretch from the junction with A149 High Street south for 150 metres.

The work, costing £50,000, will take one day, subject to the weather, and will be carried out between 7am and 7pm. The road will be closed and traffic diverted.

On Friday, April 16, resurfacing is due to start on the B1155 Bircham Road at Stanhoe.

The £30,000 scheme is expected to take a day to complete with work carried out from 7am to 7pm.

Bircham Road, Docking Road and also Burnham Road will be closed and traffic diverted.
