A £4.9m project with the twin aims of helping people to get back into work and supporting people who find it difficult to work due to their health is set to be launched next month.
The Norfolk County Council-led Chances projects will be run by partners including Voluntary Norfolk and Citizens Advice Norfolk with a local representative in West Norfolk.
A total of £2.5m towards Chances has come from the European Social Fund.
Ben Sampson, head of employment services, Voluntary Norfolk, said: “The arrival of Chances is particularly timely and we are proud to be involved with this important project.
“It will help us to better support people furthest from the labour market, while giving a much needed boost to residents left out of work by COVID-19.”
