The summer concert series Forest Live is to be postponed until next year, the Forestry Commission announced today (Monday).
A number of artists were set to perform at Thetford Forest in June, including Keane, Jess Glynne and Rag N Bone Man and Madness after last year’s dates were also cancelled due to coronavirus.
The Forestry Commission said all the headline acts were confirmed for next year’s concerts and all bookings remained valid for 2022.
“The government’s roadmap out of lockdown has made it clear we cannot hold our Forest Live concerts this summer,” a spokesman said.
“We are extremely disappointed, but this is the best way to keep our valued customers safe, as well as the staff, volunteers, contractors and artists that make Forest Live possible.”
Customers will be contacted by their point of purchase.
