Caroline Groves wore a Wonder Woman costume for her final run.

A North Lynn woman has proved to be a superhero after running 275 miles for mental health charity Norfolk and Waveney Mind.

Caroline Groves, 42, completed the final 13-mile leg of her challenge on Mother’s Day, dressed as Wonder Woman.

It took just under three hours for Mrs Groves to complete the run around King’s Lynn, the Woottons and Gaywood and she smashed her fundraising target of £150 by raising around £400.

“I’m really pleased with the final run and really enjoyed it,” she said.

“I had support from friends as I ran past their houses and received lots of support from passers-by and people in cars driving past.”

The challenge, which took nine-weeks, saw Mrs Groves build up her miles on days when she wasn’t volunteering at the Covid vaccination centre at Lynn’s Corn Exchange.

She said: “I’m sad that the challenge is over and am exploring other challenges to complete throughout the year.”
