Youngsters at Denver Primary School dressed-up at home and in school for World Book Day.

It may have been more of a low-key World Book Day this year, but it was just as fun for children across West Norfolk.

Some schools postponed  the event, but others decided to hold it on the official day, which was last Thursday.

Pupils who were still attending school were able to dress-up as their favourite book characters for the day.

But those who were being home-schooled did not miss out, as they donned their colourful costumes and sent pictures into school.

At Denver Primary School, Dennis the Menace, Harry Potter and Mr Fox were some of the characters to appear.
