MOTOR SPORT: Marcus Hudson and the Stowbridge-based Hudson Motorsport team have been hard at work over the winter.
They have been preparing for the 2021 Super 4 British Championship, including adding a new braking system, which involved a completely new front end on the kart.
Hudson said: “The new braking system meant that we have had to make changes to the rear of the kart as well.
“Work has been carried out on both race engines and we are pleased to say that all our sponsors are with us again this year.
“Studio 11 Architecture have joined the team, which also includes Carter Haulage, Maxview, Silkolene, EBC Brakes, Foras, Listers BMW, Charmed Interiors, Hair Styles and Pro-s UK Ltd. We are very grateful for their support.”
Hudson is again racing in the British Championship but due to Covid 19 restrictions there will only be five rounds, comprising two at Fulbeck in Lincolnshire, two at Shenington in Oxfordshire and one at Kimbolton in Cambridgeshire.
Covid restrictions means only the driver and two technicians – David Clark and Stuart Merrey – are allowed so Marcus’ dad Raymond will be the only person joining him in the paddock.
