A pedestrian in his 50s suffered serious injuries after a collision with a lorry on the A134 at Stoke Ferry.

The man was walking on the westbound carriageway and the lorry was travelling in the same direction at around 7.30pm on Monday.

The man was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge with serious injuries where he was said to be in a stable condition.

Police have appealed for witnesses and anyone who saw the pedestrian or lorry before the crash has been asked to call Sergeant Peter Howlett on 101.
