A man arrested in connection with an alleged stabbing in Heacham has been released on bail.

Police were called to an address in High Street at around 11.20am on Sunday, after a man in his 60s suffered what police have said was a stab wound to his neck.

The victim was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn. On Wednesday he was said to be in a stable condition.

Norfolk Police have said it is believed those involved were known to each other.

A police spokesman confirmed a man in his 50s from the Heacham area had been released on conditional bail until Tuesday, February 2.
