Members of King’s Lynn Art Society are continuing their lectures online following the latest national lockdown.

The monthly highlights are being held via Zoom as members are currently unable to meet at West Winch Village Hall at 2pm on the second Thursday of the month due to the pandemic.

The society moved to virtual lectures in September and a spokesman said they had proved “immensely popular with members, with some even preferring to view the illustrated talks from the comfort of their own homes and not having to brave the cold”.

The next lecture will be on Thursday, February 11 with a presentation about how the nation’s art treasures were saved by intrepid museum staff during the Second World War.

Anyone wishing to join any of the webinars as a visitor can do so for £5 by booking a place via info@theartssociety
