People are being invited to get snapping for a new photography competition organised by Freebridge Community Housing’s Placeshaping Team.

Staff are looking for entries which can be displayed at the North Lynn Discovery Centre to help make it look “warm and cosy”.

The competition, which is now open, is for ages five to 10, 11 to 13, 14 to 18 and 18 plus and closes on Monday, March 1.

There is no particular theme but the centre, which is primarily a youth centre, has been redecorated.

“We love animals, pets, nature pictures, landmarks in King’s Lynn, plus anything weird and wonderful that people capture,” a spokesman said.

Use your imagination and send in your entries (including your name, age and a contact number) to: placeshapers@freebridge.org.uk

The winners will receive an A4 canvas of their print from Snappy Snaps to keep and the winning snaps will also be on permanent display at Columbia Way centre.
