ATHLETICS: The RAF Marham 10K and Peterborough 10K, scheduled for New Year’s Eve had to be postponed due to the switch to Tier 4 coronavirus restrictions so runners had the option to run 10K virtually.

For the virtual Marham 10K, Renegade Runners Cody Pearman and Andy Doyle showed they were the professionals with Pearman and Doyle running 44.27.

Tiegan Moore ran her quickest 10k of the year with 46.52, while Mike Pembery hit his target, running 48.01.

Nathan Yeaman, encouraged by his mum Shelley, ran 51.33.

Matty Parker was accompanied by his son Tobie for half of his 10K and ran the full distance in 52.41.

Rob Tarry, easing himself back from injury, ran with Nick Mackay for a shared time of 53.45.

Kerrie Page was in virtual action at RAF Marham.

Wiki Marcinek, encouraged by her mum Irena, ran 54.32 – her first 10K. 

Kirsty Longhurst and Kerrie Page enjoyed running together and completed the distance in what they described as “a sexy pace”.

In the Peterborough virtual run, Monica Freeman recorded the quickest time, 55.46.

Emma Peake and Dan Price ran together in 59.09, just ahead of Dan North, who was suffering with an injury but recorded 59.38.

Adam Hitchcock clocked 60.56, Andy Hooks 61.22 and Jo Sedgley 83.43.

In a Love the 60s virtual 10k, Jamie Youngs finished in a time of 49.05.
