An inquest has opened and adjourned into the death of a 47-year-old man who  died following a fall.

Adrian Flanagan, of Archdale Street, King’s Lynn, died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Lynn, on October 17.

It was heard at the Norfolk Coroner’s Court in Norwich on Wednesday, the medical cause of Mr Flanagan’s death was given as  hypoxic brain injury, traumatic cervical spine injury and a cardiac arrest. 

It was also said he had been under the effects of alcohol.

Senior coroner Jacqueline Lake adjourned the inquest until January 25 at the Norfolk Coroners’ Court.
