Campaigners plan to hold a demonstration in King’s Lynn town centre tomorrow (Saturday) as part of a national day of action against what they have said is the government’s “continuing mishandling of the Covid crisis”.

Members of King’s Lynn and District Trades Council plan to be at Baxter’s Plain  from noon to protest against what the group has said is the “disastrous track, trace and test operation”.

A group spokesman  said the demonstration would be held under Covid-safe measures.

The demonstration will also highlight the group’s concerns for jobs, school safety and the end of the furlough scheme.
