The College of West Anglia is working with other colleges across the country to support food banks in the lead-up to Christmas.

A fundraising drive held during lockdown, run in partnership with London South East Colleges, saw 30 colleges raise more than £40,000 for food banks in their area.

The initiative has been re-launched for the festive period to raise cash and collect groceries.

The college’s three campuses will be supporting food banks in King’s Lynn, Wisbech and Cambridge.

Principal David Pomfret said “We are living in extraordinary and difficult times and never before has it been more important to help one another. Good can come out of every crisis and that is certainly what we are seeing here at the College of West Anglia.”
