Swaffham-based holiday company One Traveller is looking forward to rebuilding people’s travel plans in the wake of the industry being hard hit by the pandemic.
The company has welcomed its full complement of staff back to work for the first time since lockdown as business has started to pick up.
The family-run firm, which specialises in escorted holidays for mature single travellers, had previously been operating with half of its team due to the pandemic’s impact on the travel and tourism industry.
However, the full 25-strong office-based team is back, thanks to the high number of bookings being received for Christmas and 2021, the company said.
Owner and director Ian Darkin said: “We have always been a close-knit team here and it was heartbreaking to not have our full complement of staff available since the spring.
“We are delighted that our guests have stuck with us through some pretty challenging times and that they also feel confident to be making travel plans for the future.
“As a direct result, we are now back up to full strength and ready to start rebuilding people’s travel plans.
“We can now look forward to putting together some fantastic holidays for our guests to enjoy as we emerge from the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.”
