A new veterinary practice has launched in King’s Lynn after a former bank was given a £5m makeover.
Vets 1 Group King’s Lynn Limited has finally opened in the former Natwest building in Hardwick Road after the coronavirus pandemic set the project back.
The business is a sister company to the original Vets 1, which opened in Crimplesham in 2013.
Family-owned and operated, the new site has state-of-the-art equipment including digital x-ray, two sterile operating theatres with full monitoring equipment, a specialist dental theatre incorporating x-ray, full in-house laboratory and spacious dog, cat and isolation wards.
Sophie Bush, clinical lead and partner in the business, said: “We had planned to open in April but world events conspired against us.
“To manage to get our doors open this month is a huge relief coupled with a lot of excitement.
“We have a launch team in place which combined has more than 70 years veterinary experience and we are all looking forward to meeting both the owners and the pets that reside in the town.”
In conjunction with Vets 1 in Crimplesham, the practice will offer providing routine and emergency care for all domestic pets 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
