Visitors were able to explore a range of beautiful gardens in and around Dersingham during the village’s annual Open Gardens event.

The usual spring event had to be postponed due to coronavirus restrictions, but the event was rescheduled and held last weekend.

Around a dozen gardens were open to guests who were given a map of locations and a guide to the gardens, and more than 40 yard sales also took place.

The event raised money for the village’s St Nicholas Church and the new Dersingham Village Centre which has replaced the previous church hall.

While touring the gardens visitors were able to enjoy tea and cake thanks to the event’s catering  teams.

On Saturday evening a screening of the film Doolittle was also held at Dersingham Village Screen at the Village Centre.
