A family-run barbers in Downham Market is offering more than just a haircut after re-launching in new premises complete with a coffee bar and resident DJ.

Mortons Barbers and Mens Rooms opened at 33 Bridge Street at the weekend promising customers a “chilled and retro vibe”.

Mark Morton opened the barber shop at 67 Bridge Street in 2003 and took his son, Harry, on as an apprentice 12 years later.

The business has gone from strength to strength and as well as haircuts, it now offers a tattooist and tanning sessions.

It has also opened an in-house coffee bar serving Tropic Coffee, based in King’s Lynn.

Abbie Morton said: “We’ve worked from a small shop since opening and are very excited to grow and move onto bigger things.”
