An application has been submitted to West Norfolk Council for 39 homes at Outwell.

Dene Homes Ltd is seeking full permission for the development on land south east of Hall Road which would almost double the number of homes if approved.

Documents submitted with the proposal state the application is for part of a site which has planning permission for 20 new homes.

“The current application is made on part of the site which contained 17 of the permitted homes and as such the application is made for a net increase of 22 homes,” design and access documents state.

A mix of two and three-bedded homes are proposed for the front of the site and bungalows at the rear. The proposal includes a total of eight affordable homes.

“Highways improvements to Hall Road including improvements to the junction with Wisbech Road and the incorporation of a footpath to the south of Hall Road along the boundary of the site as were approved in the previous permission are incorporated into this permission and a S106 obligation will be necessary to secure delivery,” supporting planning documents state.
