Jack Nash, from Shouldham, won the U12 category, ahead of Downham Town’s Hayden Page.

FOOTBALL: GK Academy held their fifth annual Keeper Wars tournament at Downham Market High School on Sunday.

More than 70 competitors were in action, from as far afield as Manchester and Wales, with a healthy number of local players.

Organiser Nathan Nicholls said: “With an adapted event due to coronavirus we still enjoyed a successful day with 74 goalkeepers attending.

“Thanks go to everyone who attended, keeping to the guidelines to make it a safe environment and to all the volunteers who made the event possible.”

He also thanked main sponsors A&M Gas Services and Viessmann, as well as the age group sponsors.”
