A King’s Lynn-based business has been recognised as an East of England Export Champion by the Department for International Trade (DIT).
Captain Fawcett Ltd, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, is a manufacturer, distributor and exporter of men’s grooming products.
The Friesian Way company said it was a “great honour” to be included among companies acknowledged for an “inspirational attitude to growing a business through exporting products”.
As an Export Champion the business will help encourage companies in the region to start exporting, offer advice on how to turn ambitions into reality and to share experiences of how the DIT helped it forge ahead into new markets.
Founder Richie Finney said: “It will be a great honour to inspire other UK businesses who haven’t yet begun to sell overseas to dive in and start swimming.”
